The return of the “liberal with sanity”

Even Ed Koch, who favors a doubling of legal immigration, is stunned by the madness of the New York Times September 9 editorial demonizing Americans who oppose amnesty for illegal aliens and attacking President Bush who of course was on the same side of the issue as the Times. However (and this is the “liberal” side of his “liberal with sanity” moniker), Koch fails to bring out the fact that the Times is actually taking the side of anti-American Mexicans against Americans.
