Dobson: Giuliani election would be death of social conservatism
Via Google, I just found the exact quote of James Dobson’s Auster-like statement to Sean Hannity last night. It’s at a liberal website called “News Hounds: We watch FOX so you don’t have to,” which gives a full account of the Dobson interview.
Unlike Hannity, Dobson’s sole goal was not to keep Republicans in power. He told Hannity, “If Rudy Giuliani wins, I’m telling you the pro-life and pro-family movement is gone. If it’s Hillary, as bad as she is, there will be a mobilization to fight what she’s trying to do. If he is put in office by conservatives and by those who are pro-life and pro-marriage and pro-family, I’m afraid that we will not recover from it.” Posted by Lawrence Auster at October 09, 2007 10:28 PM | Send Email entry |
