Diana West on Hitler’s Revenge
Count Mazz’s Blog quotes a passage from Diana West’s book, The Death of the Grown-up, on the theme of “Hitler’s revenge.” (A longer version of the West excerpt is at Brussels Journal.) In the passage, West quotes my 2004 VFR article, “Victor Hanson—Liberal Universalist with a Gun,” on how the ideology of anti-intolerance replaced traditional morality after World War II, thus bringing under condemnation the continued existence of any society or culture.
Sage McLaughlin writes:
Thanks very much for pointing out the passage from West’s book. She is a conspicuously gifted writer and it is edifying to encounter good sense anywhere you can find it these days. Email entry |
