The fathers of our fathers

Indian living in the West writes:

Here is a beautiful image of the first Thanksgiving. The pre-Revolutionary period of American history is easily overlooked and forgotten. But in many ways it is the period that formed the country’s people and shaped its history. The Revolution itself would not have been possible without the ideas that the colonists brought with them.
