Making my day

“Make my day,” I said to the mainstream conservatives on January 7, 2004, the day President Bush first unveiled his immigration plan. While a lot of the mainstream conservatives did indeed “make my day” as I expected, a lot of them surprised me and made my day in the exact opposite sense, by coming out against Bush’s horrific comprehensive immigration deal in spring 2007.
