Wolfe on immigration

In a piece about the 20th anniversary of Tom Wolfe’s Bonfire of the Vanities (I remember how everywhere I went people were reading this book), the New York Times mentions in passing that Wolfe is currently working on a novel about immigration set in Miami. I doubt that Wolfe is the genius I recently expressed hope for who would write the racial-cultural-ethnic equivalent of Atlas Shrugged, but this is good news.
