Neither a paleo nor a neo be

I take a break from putting away Christmas presents and composing thank you notes to relatives for my kids not only to wish you a Merry Christmas but also to applaud your recent pieces on Ron Paul’s ideas. I must be really out of it, but I hadn’t even known about his vote against the holocaust-denial resolution until I read about it on VFR a few minutes ago. I haven’t anything profound to add but wanted to say that your sensible responses to the paleoconservative “blowback” theories and the Paulians’ cluelessness on the Islamist threat are somewhat of a relief to me as they echo the kinds of things I have been saying for a while and show that there are even more people out there than I knew who are something other than either current-administration yes-men or (slightly creepy) paleoconservatives/paleolibertarians of the Ron Paul stripe. I appreciate it a good deal.
