Ron Paul and the “Truthers”

Ron Paul was on Glenn Beck the other night for the entire hour. He was given the chance to tell the “truthers,” the people who believe that Bush was behind the 9/11 attack, to get lost, and he did not do so. He of course said he did not think that the government was behind 9/11, but he did not tell those that do think this that he wanted nothing to do with them.LA replies:
Beyond saying that he personally does not believe the government was behind 9/11, did he criticize that belief in any way?Jason replies:
Yes he did criticize it and said it was ridiculous.LA replies:
Ok, then I give him credit for that.Jason replies:
Very good point.LA replies:
However, I would add that if the objectionable people are activists working in the candidate’s campaign, and are using his campaign as an opportunity to disseminate their objectionable views, that’s another matter. I don’t know that that is the case here. Posted by Lawrence Auster at January 03, 2008 10:59 AM | Send Email entry |
