A critic speaks

There’s a blogger named mansizedtarget who really doesn’t like me. He writes at the Rod Dreher blog:

[Auster] has once again revealed that his character and personality are fundamentally unsuited to decent interaction with anyone on this Earth other than the most vile sycophants.

Well, to all those folks with whom I’m suited to have decent interaction, who read this site and have generously supported this site spiritually and materially, who send me a lot of the material that keeps this site popping, and who are the best commenters on the Web, I say:
