“Thompson comes out swinging in South Carolina”
That’s from The Hill, covering last night’s debate in South Carolina. The L-dotters comment on it I saw Thompson’s answer on immigration, and it was a heck of a lot more solid and thought-out than Romney’s. Romney is such a smart man, but he gives the impression of not having spent 30 seconds thinking about immigration and immigration-related issues—even after the battle against amnesty last spring that involved the largest grass roots uprising against a congressional bill in history. Didn’t that tell him that this is a serious issue requiring serious attention?
