“Obama is a racist”

Black columnist Erik Rush, a fellow who has a rough-looking exterior but is soft-spoken and intelligent, appeared on Hannity and Colmes in early 2007 talking about the black, African, explicitly non-American, and, he suggests, non-Christian identity of Barack Obama’s church, and said that if “white” were substituted for “black” in the statements of belief at the church’s website, a white candidate belonging to such a church would be instantly discredited and forced out of the race. The pathetic knee-jerk liberal Alan Colmes, whose sole political idea seems to be that one should never, ever do anything that might have the effect of discriminating against or making judgments about anyone (Colmes would be really happy living under the EU’s totalitarian anti-hate speech laws), then said that Rush had no right to suggest that Obama and his church are not Christian, based only on the church’s website. Rush replied, quite reasonably, that the website and the documents on it are representative of that church.
