Pennsylvania

It looks like Pennsylvania has followed Ohio. Obama won blacks and urban liberals, he failed to attract other people, and he lost big. This reinforces my post-Ohio analysis you kindly posted earlier. I have to believe the combination of the Ohio and Pennsylvania results, two indicative swing states, will convince the Democrats’ power brokers that while Obama could win their nomination, he cannot win the presidency. I still think he is going to be denied the Democratic nomination at the convention. The questions remain: Will the Dems go with Hillary or an AlGore ex machina? And who will the VP contender be? If the Dems nominate Hillary, I doubt it will be Obama. If they Gore us, it could be. I have to think the Pennsylvania result has greatly strengthened Hillary’s hand within her party, though. Can’t wait to hear what Michelle Obama has to say about it.
