The unholy trinity of liberalism

In our attempts to understand the liberalism that rides in the saddle of today’s world, there are different ways of describing it which seem at times to contradict each other. Is liberalism about non-discrimination, as I often say? Or is it about the more familiar idea of equality, perhaps even a consistent principle of equality? Or is it simply about destroying the West, by any means that will work?

But what if we don’t have to choose among these three ideas to get at the ruling idea of liberalism? What if it’s all three, working together in demonic harmony? That, to my surprise, is the answer I come upon in a comment in the previous entry, “The power that controls our world.”
