A real obvious lesson that will be completely ignored

Question: What happens when you take people who believe that it is their sacred obligation to murder their female relatives and the female relatives’ boy friends if the boy friends are from outside the religion to which the family belongs, and you put these people in a society containing mass populations belonging to every religion on earth, a society, moreover, that tells its citizens that religious and racial group differences don’t matter, and that individuals of all backgrounds should be free to date and sleep with and marry whomever they please, and that this freedom is sacred and not to be questioned?

Hmm, what does happen? Let’s think real hard now….

The London Paper reports:

Hindu man set on fire in East London “for dating Muslim girl”

Police were appealing for witnesses today following the attempted murder of a man who was doused in petrol and set on fire in east London. The 20-year-old, who is fighting for his life in hospital, was torched as he sat in his car in Forest Gate. It is believed the Hindi [sic] victim, who suffered 65 per cent burns in the attack, was targeted because he was dating a Muslim girlfriend. He had just parked his car, a green Honda Prelude, in St George’s Road when he was approached by the suspect or suspects and had petrol poured over him before being set alight. He managed to get out of the vehicle and was discovered nearby before being taken to hospital and transferred to a specialist burns unit where he remains in a critical condition. A police spokesman said: “Officers were called to the scene at 6am last Thursday to reports of a man on fire.” DI Sam Faulkner, from the violent crime unit at Forest Gate said: “This was a very nasty attack and the victim remains in a critical condition. We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw the suspect making off.”

Two men aged 20 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on bail. Today’s appeal comes as a 15-year-old girl and a man in his 20s are both still critically ill after being set alight in two separate attacks in the Greater London area last weekend.

James M. in England, who sent the article, points out that if whites had committed the crime, it would be leading the news everywhere. As it is, it stays strictly in local news.

Let us note that liberal society will never learn the obvious lesson from stories like this. To learn a lesson, any lesson, one must first exist as a valuing, deciding entity. But liberal society has no such existence. It is a vacuum, the sole function of which is the empowerment of diverse people and desires. Therefore the multicultural chaos created by liberalism will continue so long as liberal society itself continues.

I don’t know if you have touched on this particular aspect of liberalism much, but your post on the immolation of that Hindu man made me realize something regarding the nature of leftism.

One key ideological feature of the modern left is the unshakeable belief that no matter how much liberals try to alter the fundamentals of any society, the nature of society will always remain fundamentally the same and unchanged. In other words, the left does not view fundamental traditional human principles of organization as actually being fundamental to sustaining modern civilization; whether that principle is heterosexual marriage, demographics, religion, economic policy, energy policy, or whatever.

For instance, the left believes Islam is not actually fundamental to Islamic society; it is just a silly social construct (like Christianity) which prevents Muslims from achieving the ideal tolerant liberal society. We thus end up with left liberals bombing Kosovo in 1999, and right liberals invading Iraq, both in order to spread liberal values via force of arms. And then they are perplexed that the particular reality of Islam resists the establishment of liberal reality.

To put it another way, leftists do not believe their ideas have consequences, so they are shocked when the Other begins setting Hindu immigrants on fire. And they do not believe in consequences because they do not believe in reality. Indeed, they are actually at war with reality so that they may establish their own personal whims and desires in place of the old reality.

At some point, reality will reassert itself and undo liberal beliefs. I just hope that our civilization will be salvageable by the time reality kicks in.
