A reader comes up with a way to square the Darwinian theory of evolution with the existence of consciousness. He strives manfully to make the explanation plausible, but has the honesty to admit it’s a hard sell. Would that Darwinians did this more often. Instead, they present us with the most fantastical scenarios, adding that anyone who doesn’t immediately believe these fantastical scenarios is demonstrating blind superstition!
