Confusing preferential treatment with ill treatment
In an article entitled “Michelle Obama’s Inferiority Complex,” Dinesh D’Souza writes … Uh, you know what? I was about to jot down a brief summary of D’Souza’a point about Michelle Obama, but then I realized—I just don’t care. I don’t care about Michelle Obama. I don’t care about Barack Obama. I don’t care about John McCain. I don’t care about Cindy McCain. I just don’t give a damn.
There are many things in life and politics that are worth caring about. These two candidates, their qualities, their comparative virtues and faults, and their spouses, are not among them. There is only one thing that matters about these two atrocious men, which is that when one of them become the next president, which won’t happen for another five and a half months, he must be opposed. Beyond that, and before that, it is a waste of time thinking about them. Email entry |
