Bringing it on
According to WorldNetDaily, the woman who is going to chair the Democratic National Convention is a believer in black liberation theology and supports reparations for blacks. The WND article draws its information from a New York Times article that I haven’t read yet.
Ben W. writes:
Here is my answer to the “reparations” issue. We will pay the children of slaves ONLY when they pay us the difference between the level of life here and in Africa. In other words, if an African earns the equivalent of $2 a day and subsists on that, while an Afro-American earns $40 a day and lives on that, the Afro-American owes our society the equivalent of $38 a day, since this society enabled him to earn this much. We will subtract the reparations fee from that $38. If the reparations fee is deemed to be $25, then the Afro-American owes American society $13 per day of existence. Let us see who winds up owing money to whom! Posted by Lawrence Auster at August 13, 2008 08:53 AM | Send Email entry |
