Romney?

I’m told that Ken Olbermann said tonight that McCain is going to pick Romney.

It’s hard to see that happening. McCain is not going to pick a running mate who is several inches taller, ten times better looking, ten times smarter, and a much better speaker. And then there’s the serious problem that many evangelicals have with a Mormon.

Yet, if he were to select someone purely on the basis of brains and talent, he’d select Romney.

Unless McCain expands his VP search to include the participants in the upcoming Special Olympics, it will prove difficult to find a running mate who ISN’T taller, smarter, better looking and a better speaker.
