The big yawn

I am utterly uninterested in the Dem convention. I listen to it from time to time, but the rhetoric is so empty and tinny I can’t stand it and I turn it off.

Adela replies:

I started to watch it on CNN but it looked more like BET so I turned to Fox News. They were interviewing Geraldine Ferraro, who came across as so egotistical that I momentarily mistook her for Bill Clinton. (The cropped white hair didn’t help.) It will be interesting to see whether their hatred of John McCain or of one another prevails. But we don’t need to watch it to find that out.
