Why Islam threatens us

If someone tells you that Islam threatens us because we provoke it with our imperialist conduct, I recommend accessing the facts and arguments in my comment to a reader in December 2007. Of approximately nuclear effectiveness for our side is the reply by Tripoli’s ambassador to Great Britain during a meeting he had in London in 1786 with Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, when they asked him why Tripoli was so hostile to the new republic of the United States, which had never done anything to Islam.
