Still agonized

The thread on the agonizingly difficult decision (at least it is so for me) about whether Obama is so bad that one must vote for McCain, which started two days ago, is still going on. I realize most people have made up their minds by now on how they will vote. This thread is particularly for those few tortured souls who haven’t, but it may have interest for others as well. In my most recent comment, I show how the common belief that we must always vote for the lesser of two evils has the effect of empowering both the lesser evil and the greater evil to keep getting more evil, thus making the whole world more evil. But my rejection of that argument doesn’t mean that I won’t vote for McCain.
