Bent out of shape about Israel

In December 2007, commenting on Patrick Buchanan’s very interesting hour long interview with Diana West on CSPAN, I realized that Buchanan’s contradictory statements on Israel were so stunning—proposing the “one-state plan” whereby Israel would instantly be destroyed, while simultaneously urging Americans to adopt Israeli nationalism as their model—that they called for something like Freudian analysis.
