Darby deconstructs Rice

Over at Reflecting Light, Rick Darby deconstructs—or maybe a better word would be simply “demolishes”—Condoleezza Rice’s idiotic statements in a recent interview about the significance of Obama’s election and how it affects America’s negative image in the world. Unfortunately, no one feeds that negative image more than Rice herself, both deliberately, through her constant put-downs of America for its past racial inequality and oppression (inequality and oppression which she says still continue into the present and we have a “long way to go” before we’re ok in her book), and inadvertently, through her own colossal vanity and moronism. In the course of the interview she describes Iraq as an “emerging democracy,” so I’ve posted a comment showing that at the Freedom House website, Iraq is not classified as Free, and is not classified as Partly Free. It is classified as Not Free.
