Great news

I’ve just heard (there’s nothing online yet) that President Bush, on the last day of his miserable eight years as president of the United States, has finally done the right thing and commuted the sentences of former Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. Of course, he should have pardoned them, not just commuted their sentences, and he should have done this years ago. But at least they will now be released from prison.

Did you know that even ultra liberal Sen. Diane Feinstein in 2007 called on Bush to commute their sentences? But Bush didn’t have it in him to do that. He let Ramos and Compean rot in jail for another two years for doing their job and defending our country from the country to which Bush gives his highest loyalty: Mexico.

Here’s a story from Fox.

It is Great News. I take full credit, having emailed the White House a couple of days ago.
