Canadian Muslims movin’ on up

Kidist Paulos Asrat reports that Canadian mosques are graduating from nondescript neighborhood “Islamic centers” to full blown mosques with all the trimmings. Further, they are not designed as exotic additions to the prevailing architecture, but “as functioning buildings that cater to cultures and religions which have no bearing [on] the predominant and historical culture of the cities and towns in which they are built.”
