Netanyahu

Given the major disappointment of Netanyahu’s performance as prime minister ten years ago, and given the endless negotiation process with his political opponents he’s had to undergo for the last seven weeks to assemble some kind of similacrum of a functioning government, culminating in the ridiculous inclusion of the Labor Party,—how can Likud and Labor be coalition partners? it’s absurd—I have been far from hopeful about his prime ministership, particularly with regard to the prospects of his doing anything to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. But Ted Belman of Israpundit thinks things are not so bad, and has an interesting argument explaining why.
