Before the anti-American Obama bowed to Islam, the anti-American Bush bowed to Islam

Here, from 2006, is an example of why G.W. Bush deserves not just great unpopularity, but contempt—utter contempt for the contempt in which he held this country. Namely, he absurdly praised our Muslim enemies for having “transcended racial and ethnic divisions” (he dared say this about a religion that is in a permanent state of holy war against all non-followers of that religion!), even as he castigated Americans as a people still characterized by the “racial bigotry fed by slavery.”

Of course, not once did Bush’s mainstream conservative champions criticize him for this despicable behavior.

So, if you feel indignant at the sight of Obama manifesting a deep respect to Islam that he doesn’t feel and would never show to America, please remember that Obama is but following the example that was set by Bush—and licensed by Bush’s “conservative” supporters.
