Not wanting to seem racist, woman allows herself to be held up and raped

It sounds like America itself, doesn’t it? Maybe we should replace the Statue of Liberty with a statue of this woman, who truly symbolizes what America now is.

The story comes from KGET:

The woman had just left the Babies R Us store on when she noticed a man in a tattered military coat lurking in the parking lot, she told police. The woman told detectives she was worried because the man looked like a thug, but she didn’t want to seem racist.

So, not wanting to seem racist, the Bakersfield, California woman proceeded to her car, where the man held her up at gun point and threatened to kill her 11 month old daughter if she didn’t do what he told her. He had her to drive to an ATM where he stole $500 from her, then he had had her drive to a junior high school parking lot where he raped her in front of her child.

This white woman saw a person who she herself felt was dangerous, but she suppressed her awareness of danger because he was black. The MORE troublesome, MORE hostile, and MORE threatening nonwhites and non-Westerners are, the MORE whites conceal the truth from themselves, in order not to seem racist. The woman kidnapped from the parking lot of the Babies “R” Us on Rosedale Highway and then robbed and raped told her attacker she learned not to hold onto hatred because she was molested as a child.

That’s just one of the details unsealed in police reports in Superior Court.

The woman told detectives she complied with her attacker’s requests because he repeatedly threatened to kill her 11-month old baby.

It is 17 News’ policy to withhold the names of rape victims.

The woman had just left the Babies R Us store on when she noticed a man in a tattered military coat lurking in the parking lot, she told police. The woman told detectives she was worried because the man looked like a thug, but she didn’t want to seem racist.

She had just purchased a princess hat for her daughter’s first birthday pictures when the man stepped up behind her and pulled a gun from under his coat.

“The suspect stated, ‘All I want is money. You will be fine. You don’t want anything to happen to your baby. Just listen to me,”’ the investigating detective wrote in his reports.

“She said she walked around her vehicle and opened the driver’s side door. She pushed the seat forward and the suspect got into the vehicle and sat behind the driver’s seat. The victim asked the suspect where they were going and he stated, ‘The closest bank that’s yours. If I see the cops, your baby’s dead.’”

The woman told detectives she was worried because the man looked like a thug, but she didn’t want to seem racist.”She said he had an odor of alcohol on his breath, and the subject stated, ‘Don’t freak out,’” the police report indicates.

The woman offered to give the man several hundred dollars she had in her car, and drove him to the bank to withdraw another $500. The man then demanded she drive to Fruitvale Junior High, where he raped the woman at gunpoint in front of her daughter.

“A car pulled up three spaces north of her vehicle and two women got out of the vehicle. She stated the suspect promised her that he would let her go soon. He stated, “It’s a matter of time” and began babbling about the time,” the police report said.

The suspect reportedly took her ID and stated he knew where she lived.

Then, the victim says there was a change in the suspect’s demeanor and he acted like he was asking her for a date, reports said.

“Once outside of the car, the victim said the suspect wanted a kiss, stating, “This time like you mean it. I want a real one.”

She advised she kissed him and got back in her vehicle. The victim said the suspect walked behind her vehicle to the right side of it. She sat in her vehicle for a minute, then started her vehicle, backed out of the parking stall and left. The victim said she looked back and saw the suspect who had a smirk on his face.”

Bakersfield Police booked Anthony Ray Graham, Jr. for the kidnap and rape about a month later. Graham has pleaded not guilty and has declined requests for a jailhouse interview.

Criminalists with the Kern County Crime Lab said they matched DNA from saliva on the victim’s breast to Graham’s DNA that had been entered into a criminal database following his arrest and conviction on a battery charge.

The victim also positively identified Graham in a photo lineup, reports indicate.

“Graham began his interview by stating, ‘Okay let me tell you what went down.’

”He stated this incident was not a rape, but was a ‘drug deal gone bad,”’ the detective wrote in his report. “He said he was just here in Bakersfield … because a friend of his, known to him only as ‘Carlita’ had asked him to go with her to sell some narcotics to a subject in Bakersfield.”

Detectives say they pressed Graham and he changed his story:

“Graham replied, ‘Well my DNA was in that vehicle because I sneezed and that’s why you have my DNA. He stated he sneezed while he was in the back seat. Graham continued to deny (his involvement) for approximately half an hour to 45 minutes. he then stated, ‘Okay, I’ll tell you what happened. Yes, I did kiss her breast, but she allowed me to.”

Rape experts with the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault’s Outreach Center would not comment on this particular case, but said relying on instincts can often save a victim’s life.

“Pay attention to those gut feelings if something does not feel quite right to you. It’s OK to walk away from your car and go somewhere else,” said Alliance Outreach Center Supervisor Carrie Zerafa.

Graham is set to go to back to court Friday to set a trial date.

It’s notable that this (probably very liberal) sexual assault outreach center would tell women that they should not ignore their gut feelings when they see a dangerous-looking person, i.e., when they see a dangerous looking black. But the problem is, what if these women’s strongest gut feeling is not wanting to seem racist ?

When I was 20 years old I was mugged in broad daylight for the exact same reason. I crossed the street and walked directly into my mugger. I distinctly remembered thinking “Dana, you walk by black people ALL the time—don’t be racist—cross the street,” even though I got a really bad vibe from this guy. I know I am treading on familiar ground here. But I still find it interesting that these suicidal white victims seem more often then not to be of a younger generation weaned on PC propaganda, suicidal Judeo-Christian teachings and Eloi communities. The older “Baby Boomer” victims are of the OG variety, using the black thug vernacular for “Original Gangster.” Or, as I like to think of it. OHG. Original hippie gangster. Being born and raised in NYC it was in my (and my family’s) DNA to avoid suspicious looking characters whatever race they were. But we were especially suspicious of blacks. There was one technique that I used on the subway during late hours that always worked. Never make eye contact, wear sunglasses, look half asleep or as ignorant and tough as possible.

Any sign of fear or intelligence made you an automatic target. But even after that, I along with every member of my family have been victims of black crime and violence exclusively. With the exception of a distant (young) family member who tried “not to be racist” and learned the hard way. That person in an astounding reversal of human reason chose to embrace and adopt “black culture” full on. When I tried to discuss the issue with this person it was not long before I was accused of being one step away from donning white sheets. I really fear for this person’s future.

This is not a new phenomenon. Here is an npr segment from 2008 in which Joanna Connors, a reporter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, discusses a recent series of articles she wrote about her 1984 rape. A black man raped her in an empty building on the campus of her college. She followed him into an empty building after he pretended to be asking for help ignoring her misgivings because she did not want to appear racist. In her articles she argues that despite being raped she did the right thing in not giving in to her feelings of racism. This has been going on since 1984 and before!

I may seem like a hard core lefty quoting npr all the time but I’m quite the opposite.

But this is much worse, though even truer to liberalism.It’s not just that a woman should risk rape in order not to seem racist, but that a woman should positively choose to allow herself to be raped, in order not to be racist.

Do you think the Darwinians, like Steve Sailer or our occasional commenter “Albert Nock,” would have any explanation for this? Matter, status, sexual competition cannot explain such a perverted thing. It is a moral and spiritual phenomenon.

On the subject of which group is the greatest threat to society, in my view it is not black males but white females and their subordinate, subservient lick-spittle white male lackeys. It is white females who are destroying America, not blacks. I feel vastly more threatened by white females than by black males. I would rather risk walking down a dark inner-city street than risk going to a white cocktail party in suburbia. The chances of an unpleasant incident in the first case are much lower than the chances in the second case, which are approximately 100 percent..

I know you don’t like Roissy in DC, but he is right-on about the wide-ranging social destruction driven by white American females. Health care, “anti-war,” anti-smoking, same-sex “marriage,” you name it. Even open borders and multiculti-ism are driven by, or enabled by, white females and their moral narcissism.

America today is the most female-dominated society in history, and hence is headed for the ash-heap.

That’s funny, but it’s also true on a profound level in terms of the traditionalist critique of liberalism. Liberty used to mean self-government, as in the Declaration of Independence: “in order to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” But in modern liberal society, liberty just means individuals’ freedom to do whatever they want, to satisfy all their desires, and the function of society is that it provides people the opportunity to do that. Thus you constantly hear immigration praised because it’s so wonderful that people can come here and “enjoy our freedoms,” as though our country, including its liberties, were a vast shopping mall rather than a country and a system of government, and we’re proud of that fact, that’s the way that we ourselves see our country. And when that view is combined with the alienism of contemporary liberalism and the alien nature of most contemporary immigrants, we are basically inviting the world to come here to take liberties with us.
