The utter simplicity of liberalism
Meghan McCain, daughter of John McCain, supports homosexual “marriage,” and she explicitly bases her support for it on the very idea which traditionalists say is the key to liberalism: equal freedom. The radical transformation of the central institution of human society is not a complex and troubling issue as McCaini sees it, but a very simple one: are we giving all people equal rights?
