Are the faces of public figures … private?
Is it wrong to think that the physical appearance of public figures corresponds sometimes with their character, and to make critical observations about their appearance on that basis? It’s a discussion we’ve had before, and we’re having it again, in connection with Dutch journalist Joanie de Rijke who was held captive for six days and repeatedly raped by a Taliban commander, and said after her release that her captors respected her and were not such bad guys. It’s in the entry, “Wilders tells the Dutch elite what they are.” Posted by Lawrence Auster at June 02, 2009 12:01 AM | Send Email entry |
