The true socialist mindset
European regulators did not want the Internet Explorer browser that comes bundled with Microsoft’s Windows operating system to have a unfair advantage over other browsers. So Microsoft offered to sell Windows in Europe without the browser. That sounds like a huge concession that would solve the problem of unfair advantage, right? Wrong. The European regulators are now saying that merely removing the IE browser from Windows is not enough; in order to assure true equality of competition, Microsoft must include all the competitor browsers as part of its own operating system.
