Crowley is a racial profiling expert

I just learned something new about Officer Crowley: he teaches a course on racial profiling at a police academy:

The white police sergeant criticized by President Barack Obama for arresting black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. in his Massachusetts home is a police academy expert on racial profiling.

Cambridge Sgt. James Crowley has taught a class on racial profiling for five years at the Lowell Police Academy after being hand-picked for the job by former police Commissioner Ronny Watson, who is black, said Academy Director Thomas Fleming.

“I have nothing but the highest respect for him as a police officer. He is very professional and he is a good role model for the young recruits in the police academy,” Fleming told The Associated Press on Thursday.

The course, called “Racial Profiling,” teaches about different cultures that officers could encounter in their community “and how you don’t want to single people out because of their ethnic background or the culture they come from,” Fleming said

Only these first four paragraphs of the article contain new information—the rest is a repeat of things already reported.

Hey, that’s a big improvement over the usual news story. Most of the time just the first paragraph contains new information, and the rest is a repeat of old things.

Take back your claim that this officer is a “man.” As Jared Taylor has shown time and time again, racial profiling saves lives and would be common sense in a sane world. Gates is obviously anti-white, but Crowley is a collaborator with the modern PC regime and in some ways much more evil. He thought that by being anti-racist he could get the anti-whites to like him but then found out that no matter how sensitized he is, they’ll always hate him for his job and skin color. I have much more contempt for white males like this than I do for black buffoons.

It’s possible you’re right, but let’s not rush to conclusions. Within reason, there is arguably a legitimate need for police in immigrant-intensive communities to know something about the various immigrant cultures in order to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

As for profiling, anyone working as a police officer in today’s America is going to have to deal with anti-profiling regimes, since those are the existing rules. The current reality is that there is no way for people working in mainstream institutions to avoid liberalism. The U.S. Armed Forces are highly feminized. Do we call all men serving in the U.S. Armed Forces “collaborators with the modern PC regime and in some ways much more evil”?
