Discrimination (of certain types) is good
I haven’t had time to read it yet, but there is a big discussion at The Thinking Housewife on a radical conservative subject, “Why We Must Discriminate” (against women), and it looks very interesting. This is what traditionalism is about, recognizing the real qualities of and the real distinctions between various categories, such as the West and Islam, such as natives and foreigners, such as men and women, such as the incapable and the capable, such as the badly behaving and the well behaving, and deciding in what respects equality of rights for these various categories is appropriate to their real nature and to the good of society as a whole, and in which respects it is not appropriate.
