What Sarah’s up to
When Sarah Palin stunned the political world with her announcement in early July that she was resigning from the governorship of Alaska, most of her supporters said she was doing it to become active in the lower 48, advance conservatism, help Republicans, and become a force in national politics, which she could not do while up in Alaska. It turns out that what she’s been doing with her time since leaving office a month ago is writing her memoir.
Isn’t that odd? Politicians normally write a memoir after they’ve completed their term in office. Palin is writing a memoir after precipitately abandoning her office 2 1/2 years into a four year term.

Palin’s Father: No Media While Sarah Writes Book

The father of Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and vice presidential nominee, says his daughter is steering clear of the media spotlight to focus on writing a book of memoirs.
Chuck Heath, in Idaho campaigning for a Republican congressional candidate, says Palin has been away from her Alaska home for more than a month.
Heath told the Spokesman-Review he frequently gets e-mails from her seeking trivial information for her book—like how many points she scored in a basketball game or when the family attended the Boston Marathon.
Palin quit as Alaska governor in July. She has made no public appearances but has voiced opinions on issues via social networking Web sites like Facebook.
