A stunning manmade global warming fraud exposed
A set of data long used in support of the anthropogenic global warming claim has turned out to be an out and out fraud. Tree rings from Siberia that showed dramatic atmospheric warming in recent times were based on a handful of cherry picked and unrepresentative samples from a much larger sample. Over a period of years, in no fewer than eight peer reviewed studies published in the most prestigious science journals, the promoters of AGW were allowed to keep repeating their claims without having to show the actual data on which the claims were based. Now the data have come out, and, as Melanie Phillips puts it,
The scandal not only shows once again that AGW is a fraud but shoots to pieces the integrity of scientific peer-review. In other words, a huge story.
