Evangelicals for … Rigoberta Menchu?

In the entry about the official evangelical support for legalizing illegal aliens (a.k.a. amnesty), see A. Zarkov’s comment about the left-wing nature of the National Association of Evangelicals.

(Note: I threw in the mention of Rigoberta Menchu as a handy way to express the idea that the National Association of Evangelicals seems to be part of a leftist, pro-Third World movement, but, as it turns out, Google has 2,600 results for “evangelicals” and “Rigoberta Menchu.”)
