Griffin gets mass audience for first time, but the price is getting the hell beaten out of him
The appearance of Nick Griffin on the BBC’s Question Time was a big deal, so much so that today’s New York Times has an article on it. The Times continues the beating up process by, e.g., making it appear that the Griffin of today is the Griffin of the 1990s, not mentioning his explicit, systematic rejection of his former anti-Semitism and his complete re-making of the BNP into a non-anti-Semitic party. The irony is that “mainstream,” politically correct, pro-Islam British positions today are vastly more anti-Jewish and anti-Israel, both in substance and effect, than the BNP’s, but it’s the BNP that gets called Nazi.
