The Democrats’ bill

Though the Democrats have put together a health care bill to bring to the House floor, that doesn’t mean they’re on the path to victory. As the New York Post discusses today in an editorial, the Dems have plenty of problems, and the battle is moving into full gear. Obviously, stopping this horrendous bill won’t save America, any more than stopping the comprehensive immigration bill in 2006 and 2007 did. But its passage would be a terrible blow, changing us into a full-blown bureaucratic state.
