Oprah’s boyfriend brings 9/11 mastermind to New York

Re Eric Holder’s appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, that was an amazing scene, watching Holder trying to justify this utterly indefensible decision.
I had to laugh when Dennis Miller, on the O’Reilly show, expressed some confusion about Holder’s appearance: “When did Oprah’s boyfriend become attorney general?”
It would seem, as Pat Buchanan has pointed out, that if this case goes the way of the O.J. trial Obama will pay a significant political price, which makes it had to understand his motives. Dick Morris suggests that he wants to use this case as a show trial of Bush policy and doesn’t care about the political risks or thinks they are minor.
