Black man ambushes and attempts to run over police officers
I call it the black intifada. Obama and Holder lead it and carry it out on the highest level. People like Jeremiah Wright and Jesse Jackson carry it out on the middle level. And the likes of
Maurice Clemmons of Lakewood, Washington and Derrick Cox of Pennsacola, Florida carry it out on the street level.
The story is from Fox 10 TV:
Man tries to run over two officers
07 Dec 2009
PENSACOLA, Fla.—Pensacola Police say a driver tried to run over two officers over the weekend. Now the suspect is behind bars. The two officers shot at the victim in defense. Now both officers are on administrative leave.
The only evidence that remains is a few tire marks. Investigators say a suspect tried to run down two police officers, who shot back in defense. Investigators say it all started when the suspect, Derrick Cox, reported a woman was chasing him around with a knife at Pensacola Village Apartments. Once police got there, they couldn’t find either one of them.
“He called 911, made up a false name and a false incident in order to get police officers to look inside a specific apartment inside Pensacola Village. When we went in there, we couldn’t find this individual,” Assistant Pensacola Police Chief Chip Simmons said.
An officer saw Cox’s car not too far away. They went to go talk to him and that’s when they say he tried to run over the other officers.
“He went forward and backed up toward Officer Doss, he went forward again toward Officer Shawn Thompson. That’s when they fired shots at the tire of the truck and into the truck itself in order to stop it,” Simmons said.
Cox was shot three times in the arm and was taken to the hospital. He’s been released and is now in the Escambia County Jail.
Officers Shawn Thompson and Eric Goss are on administrative leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates what happened. Pensacola Police say it will take a few weeks for the investigation to be complete.
