Sen. Max Bacchus
In an undated video, presumably from some time in the last couple of months, an obviously drunk Sen. Max Baucus rants on the Senate floor about how the Republicans refused to cooperate on a health care bill. I’ve seen U.S. Senators speaking while under the influence (Daniel Patrick Moynihan comes to mind). I’ve never seen a U.S. Senator speaking in a plainly inebriated state on the Senate floor.
A commenter at the YouTube page reminds us that Bacchus is the Greek god of intoxication. Email entry |
