Good wishes
I thanked an Italian-American reader—in e-mails we always address each other by our Italian first names—for a donation to this site, and he wrote back:
Lorenzo,
Il piacere e’ mio—The pleasure is all mine.
You should know that I wouldn’t donate a dime to any website and/or organization that does not do God’s work, and in my judgment, your placing the events that shape us in a principled conservative context does just that. I also believe that is why many other readers check VFR’s website each day.
It is my fervent hope that VFR continues as a major beacon of conservatism on the Web.
a piu tarde,
Vincenzo
I replied:
” … your placing the events that shape us in a principled conservative context … ”
That is what I always strive to do. It means a lot to me that you see this. Thank you.
