John Brennan—a worthy male equivalent of Janet Napolitano

Here is one part of Chris Wallace’s interview with deputy national security advisor John Brennan (not the same part I quote in an earlier entry). Oh, man, is this country in trouble. If this character were the deputy director of traffic control for a medium sized city I would have zero confidence in him, let alone the president’s deputy national security advisor on counterterrorism. The man’s a joke—a weak, lying little bureaucrat who is out of touch with reality and underneath has a deep sense of resentment, I think against his father or against men, and therefore cannot be trusted. Sorry for the instant psychoanalysis. It’s nothing but an intuition or first impression that came to me. I offer it for what it’s worth.
