Where’s the repentance?
The repulsive Frank Rich makes a reasonable point for once, that Sarah Palin’s and other Republicans’ argument that the GOP is the party of small government as contrasted with the Democrats’s Big Government policies is false, given Palin’s and the GOP’s own past support for Big Government.
Now it’s possible that Repubicans, faced with the shock of what really, really Big Government looks like under Obama, have moved away from their past support for Big Government. But if that’s to be believed, don’t they at least need to come clean about their past policies and say that they were wrong? Email entry |
