West clears Spencer of plagiarism charge; in return, Spencer accuses West of “viciously attacking” him
On April 30, based on Diana West’s careful examination of the evidence in the Andrew Bostom / Robert Spencer “plagiarism” dispute, I concluded that there was absolutely no basis for the plagiarism charge, and I said that Bostom should retract it. In a May 2 comment at Jihad Watch, Spencer quotes my defense of him while he simultaneously accuses Diana West of engaging in a “vicious attack” and a “smear campaign” against himself. I discuss the matter and try to explain, or rather divine, what is going on. Posted by Lawrence Auster at May 03, 2010 01:13 PM | Send Email entry |
