Readers of The Paleostinian Conservative (a.k.a. The American Conservative) express their views on the “peace armada”
They are completely
on the side of the Muslims, and take it for granted that when Israel prevented a pro-Hamas ship from breaking the blockade and landing in Gaza (you know, Hamas, which at war with Israel), Israel was doing a horrible thing. The Hamas “peace activists” were justified in using deadly force on the Israeli soldiers who boarded the ship, and the Israeli soldiers were not justified in firing back.
This thought occurs to me. Just as, at a certain point, it suddenly became clear to everyone, including Charles Johnson himself, that Charles Johnson was not an anti-jihad conservative but a man of the left, and he then publicly embraced his identity as a man of the left which he had really been all along, at a certain point it’s suddenly going to become clear to everyone, including its readers and editors, that The American Conservative is not a conservative magazine but a pro-Hamas publication, and its readers and editors will then recognize in their own minds and publicly avow what they have really been all along:
.
SONG OF THE PALEOSTINIAN CONSERVATIVES
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Hey hey hey, hey hey hey.
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
Khaibar, Khaibar, O Jews.
The Army of Muhammad will return
We will crawl and fight.
With our blood, we will fight.
We will crawl and fight.
With our blood we will fight.
Ah, Ah.
You will not cross over my blood, over my blood.
You will not live in my homeland, in my homeland.
You will not cross over my blood, over my blood.
You will not live in my homeland, in my homeland.
Death to you … under the ground,
and glory to us above the ground.
Death to you under the ground,
and glory to us above the ground.

Two comments:
1) Isn’t the editor of AmCon, Ron Unz, Jewish? [LA replies: I don’t know what Unz’s persona position on Israel is, but there are many Jews who are anti-Israel.]
2) It’s funny how individuals like Buchanan adopt the language of leftists when discussing Israel. I have no problem with conservatives decrying U.S.-Israeli relations on the premise of “what’s good for America.” But when these commenters start grousing about human rights abuses and apartheid states, their transparency and inconsistency (not to mention the inanity of their arguments) undermine their pro-Muslim position. And since when is aggressive action against hostile foreigners and the establishment of a state dependent on ethnicity antithetical to conservative ideals?
I wrote about Buchanan’s stance on Israel here (see bottom of the post).
