Charge against Gore enters the liberal mainstream
Today’s Washington Post covers massage therapist Molly Hagerty’s accusation of sexual assault against former Vice President Gore. There are two new facts in the story: the Portland, Oregon police admit that their closure of the case in 2009 after Hagerty’s long and detailed statement was precipitate and not done according to procedure; and Hagerty unsuccessfully sought a restraining order against a former boyfriend in 1998, saying he had assaulted her and spoken to her in a menacing tone.
