The method in his incompetence

Paul, the most conservative of the three Powerline writers, takes the same position that I have taken (here and here) on the “incompetence” issue. Obama, he says, is not “incompetent,” as so many conservative commentators have been repeating in a mindless chorus, but is competently and ruthlessly moving the country as far to the left as he can in the time he has.
