The record of the man O’Donnell defeated

Did you know that Republican congressman Michael Castle of Delaware (not “Mike Castle”)

Voted for budget-busting stimulus spending.

Voted for the bailouts.

Voted for Cap-and-Trade.

Voted to ban ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge) and offshore drilling.

Voted for Cash-for-Clunkers and tax increases while earning an “F” rating from Second Amendment supporters.

Even voted to allow the courts to remove “God” from the Pledge of Allegiance.

(That’s from The Philadelphia Bulletin, in an article explaining why Castle was so out of touch with his party he was doomed to defeat in the Republican primary.)

In other words, Castle voted for every major Democratic measure over the last two years except for Obamacare. Yet Karl Rove and Powerline, and how many other GOP poobahs, supported Castle for the U.S. Senate over Christine O’Donnell.
