The nowhere men of white tribalism and material reductionism
John McNeil continues his thoughtful and troubled meditations on the white nationalists or white tribalists whose tribalism is so narrow and mindless it represents a cancellation of the ideals of Western civilization. In addition to admiring Mr. McNeil for the maturity of his thought (he is only in his early twenties), I feel a bond with him in his journey, as he is confronting so many of the issues that I also have wrestled with over the years. A fundamental difference between me and the white tribalists is that I see race and particularity as important components within a larger whole; they see them, in one way or another, as the whole.
